Solar and storage services
Solar and batteries are electrical systems first. A clean installation depends on the panel, service, roof or ground location and utility rules. We design each system around how you use power and what you want from it: lower bills, backup during outages, or support for EV charging.
- Rooftop and ground-mount solar
- Home and commercial battery storage
- Backup power for critical circuits
- Solar + EV charging integration
- Main panel and service upgrades for solar
- Utility interconnection paperwork
- Monitoring setup
Battery backup for outages
Middle Tennessee storms can knock out power for hours or days. A battery system can keep critical circuits such as refrigeration, lights, internet and well pumps running. We help you choose which circuits to back up and size the battery to match, with or without solar.
Utility interconnection in Tennessee
Connecting solar to the grid requires approval from your electric utility. In the Nashville area that may be Nashville Electric Service, Middle Tennessee Electric or another TVA local power company, each with its own process and rates. We prepare the application, coordinate inspections and explain how the utility credits any energy you send back.
Choosing what fits
Not every property is a good solar candidate. Shading, roof age and orientation matter. We tell you when a project does not make sense.
| Goal | Typical system | Consider |
|---|---|---|
| Lower energy bills | Grid-tied solar | Utility credit rules and roof condition |
| Backup during outages | Battery storage | Which circuits matter most |
| Both | Solar + battery | Higher upfront cost, more resilience |
| Business demand charges | Commercial battery | Interval data from your utility |
