EV CHARGING CONTRACTOR
EV charging contractor for fleet depots, garages and DC fast charging
GridWise Energy builds EV charging for general contractors, owners and fleets across Tennessee, including fleet depots, parking garages, DC fast charging and NEVI-funded highway sites. Our electricians handle utility coordination, switchgear, trenching, conduit, chargers and commissioning, and we also develop charging sites ourselves.
What is your bonding capacity for EV charging projects?
Our single-project and aggregate bonding capacity is [BONDING CAPACITY], provided through our surety on request. Ask for a bonding letter with your bid invitation and we will send it with our prequalification packet. We confirm bond requirements for each EV charging project before submitting a number.
How large are your crews for EV charging work?
Our field crew size is [CREW SIZE], led by licensed electricians and HVAC technicians on our own payroll. We staff each EV charging project to the schedule in the bid documents and tell you upfront if a manpower requirement exceeds what we can commit, rather than overpromising during bidding.
How fast can you turn around a EV charging bid?
Send the plans, specifications, addenda and bid date through email or BuildingConnected. We confirm within 48 hours whether we will bid and flag scope questions early. Turnaround depends on project size and documents, and we tell you immediately if the bid date is too tight to price accurately.
Are you union or open shop for EV charging projects?
GridWise Energy is [UNION / OPEN SHOP]. Tell us about any project labor agreement, prevailing wage or certified payroll requirements in your bid invitation, and we will confirm how we meet them before submitting pricing for the EV charging scope, so there are no surprises after award.
Do you build NEVI-funded charging sites?
Yes. We build DC fast charging sites designed to NEVI program requirements, including the power levels, connector types and uptime expectations in the specification. We coordinate with the utility, site developer and charger vendor, and provide the documentation the funding program requires for construction and commissioning.
What prequalification documents can you provide for EV charging bids?
We provide a prequalification packet with our W-9, certificate of insurance, Tennessee electrical license TN77232 BC/CE, HVAC license 744451, safety manual, EMR letter ([EMR]) and bonding letter. Documents not yet uploaded are available by request at bids@gridwiseenergy.ai. We complete GC-specific prequalification forms as well.
